Measure before choosing a bin

Measure the shelf depth and door clearance before buying a storage bin. Leave enough space to remove a roll without crushing it. A closed container can protect against incidental dust, but packing damp paper into it will not make the paper dry.

Separate dry reserves

Keep only a modest working supply in the bathroom when the room stays humid after showers. Store the rest in a dry hall closet. Check the bottom of the stack when cleaning; discard paper exposed to dirty water rather than attempting to dry it for later personal use.

Choose a restock point

Your replenishment point should reflect available space. Count the usable rolls, estimate how long they last from your own routine, and allow time for your next shopping trip. The stock planner can calculate this from household inputs without assuming a national average.

Before you decide

  • Keep paper away from shower splashes.
  • Check the bottom shelf for leaks.
  • Do not save paper exposed to dirty water for personal use.
